Use professional baby gates to block off stairs and other places you don’t want your child to access. Make sure the gate is appropriate for its location. Using the wrong gate can be dangerous.

For example, you should never use a pressure-mount gate at the top of a stairway, because it is possible for some children to dislodge it.
