Some babies start refusing the second nap around now. Refusing it for a few days is not the same as being ready to drop it — the transition to one nap is usually later.
Naps at this age: 2. Awake between sleeps: 3h to 3h 45m. Longest night stretch: 10–12 hours at a time.
The CDC does not publish a checkpoint at 10 months — its checkpoints are 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15 and 18 months. Your baby has passed the 9-month checkpoint and is working toward the 12-month one. These are the 12-month milestones, which is what most babies are growing into now.
12–16 hours per 24 hours including naps, per the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, endorsed by the AAP.
2 is the conventional range at this age. No medical body publishes nap counts — this is convention, and healthy babies fall outside it.
Conventionally 3h to 3h 45m awake between sleeps. Wake windows are not published guidance from any medical body, whatever a schedule page implies.
